Let's flip LA!With the 2020 census fast approaching, our 2019 elections are going to determine our State's future and representation for the next 11 years. Louisiana is at or near the bottom of every quality of life index measure. Only with the election of our Governor, John Bel Edwards, have we begun to see this turn. Medicaid expansion, for example, is lifting our healthcare outcomes. Criminal justice reform has lifted us from being number 1 in incarceration in the world. We have a long way to go. Join us at this weekly event. The goal? Let's get a large, regular crowd gathered and attract some media attention. The attention will help to inform Louisianians about the importance of these 2019 elections and, in turn, raise voter turnout.
Let's do this!
Join us in front of the New Orleans office of our Senator, John Neely Kennedy, every Wednesday at Noon at 500 Poydras. Bring signs. Stay on the sidewalk!
