This week on #ResistanceRadio the guys are joined by Karol Tatiana, an educator and activist who works with the School of the Americas Watch (SOA Watch). SOA Watch is a nonviolent grassroots movement that works to stand in solidarity with the people of Latin America and the Caribbean to close the SOA/WHINSEC and to change oppressive U.S. foreign policy that the SOA represents.
Karol discusses the history of the establishment of the School of the Americas, its impact on the spread of imperialist U.S. foreign policy, the creation of the School of the Americas Watch in resistance and how you can get involved.
Tune in next week for our second installment of “Movement Mondays” live from the 3 Keys @ Ace Hotel New Orleans. We will be joined by Louisiana Senator JP Morrell to discuss the unanimous jury amendment and the five other amendments to the Louisiana constitution on the ballot this November.
